There is another species (Metochus uniguttatus) in Singapore that looks very similar to Metochus schultheissi based on the images in the iNaturalist website. As of 24 March 2025, there were 11 observations of Metochus uniguttatus and 60 observations of Artemidorus pressus reported in the website. I am not able to differentiate the two.
